Research
Information about Slinkachu the street artist.
Slinkachu (born 1979) is a British Street Artists, photographer and blogger. He is best known for its Little People become known that he installed at various locations in London since 2006. His art was presented in a series of exhibitions in London and Norway. Slinkachu presents his art since 2006, mainly due to the installation of scenes with painted train model figures (Little People) which he placed in on London's streets in different scenes. It may be everyday scenes or accident scenarios, for example, a figure floored under a stubbed out cigarette (Stubbed Out, 2007) or a worker who is out of a drain braces (Drain Guy, 2007). He is also working on installations with several figures and other objects as they’re not pets, Susan, 2007 in which he shows a man with a rifle next to a young girl at a dead bumblebee. The magazine Art wrote his figures stood "for the isolation and loneliness in cities”.
Recently taken
Slinkachu the artist has just recently taken a picture of eight small people doing tug of war with a ten pound note. Four business men on one side and four normal people the other, I think that the business people are taking all of the money and the hardworking normal people are not getting paid enough so they are taking there money back of the business people, Slinkachu has demonstrated that with the little people doing tug of war with a ten pound note. I like how he used the size of the little people and the size of the 10 pound note and the proportion size.
This image has been taken from a low depth of field to focus on whats in the foreground, and also been taken from a worms eye-view. Also have e very bright contrast in colours to make the figures stand out from the grey background it also makes it very appealing and eye catching. Also the rule of thirds has been used landscape ways and only focused on the middle line of where the slinkachu figures are.
david gilliver
Firstly I like this image because of the bright colours used its very eye catching and draws your attention straight on to the figures, a low depth of field is used to capture the foreground and little figures also a slow shutter speed has been used to let in more light. the photographer may have also used additional lighting to make the image look even brighter and I also like the contrast between the clothing of the figures and M'n'M. The artist has created a rule of thirds by making the the foreground and background out of focus and blurred.

Evaluation
I have researched and studied David Gillver and Slinkachu at the start of this project, first I rally liked the work of sliunkachu but my interest started to shift more towards David, then I decided to re imitate their work. I decided to pull together lots of different ideas I have to say that this was my favorite unit of work. throughout my work I have used a low depth of field and the rule of thirds.
